Hi, I’m
Ribert.
Curious about everything.
Obsessed with feeling alive.
I’m not a doctor or a dietitian. I’m someone who got tired of feeling foggy, bloated, and drained — and decided to actually figure out why. What I found changed everything.
My story

“I realized the hunger, the brain fog, the crashes — none of it was a willpower problem.
It was an information problem.”
I wasn’t eating badly. I just wasn’t eating consciously.
For a long time, my relationship with food was on autopilot. I was avoiding the obvious junk — fast food, candy, the stuff everyone knows is bad — but I was still filling my body with processed ingredients I couldn’t pronounce, packaged foods that looked healthy, and meals that left me bloated, foggy, and crashing by mid-afternoon.
I had no idea why I felt that way. I figured it was just how life was. Tired after eating. Hungry an hour later. Skin that never quite cleared up. A mind that couldn’t hold focus. I thought I just needed more sleep, more coffee, more discipline.
Eating less didn’t work. Avoiding “bad” foods didn’t either.
Like a lot of people, I tried the obvious fixes. Cut portions. Avoid outside food. Skip the junk. But the digestion problems didn’t go away. The hunger didn’t go away. The energy crashes kept coming.
What I didn’t understand was that avoiding bad things isn’t the same as giving your body what it actually needs. I was still eating processed foods at home — just different processed foods. I was still skipping the whole foods, the fiber, the protein combinations that actually keep your hunger hormones stable.
And I grew up in the DR, where the daily plate was heavy on rice and light on everything else. You’d eat and feel full — for about 20 minutes. Then the crash would hit. Everyone around me was living the same cycle, and nobody questioned it.
Then I started looking at the bigger picture.
The shift didn’t come from a diet book or a fitness influencer. It came from stepping back and asking harder questions — about how food is actually made, what’s in it, who profits from it, and why so many people feel the way I felt.
When I started reading ingredient labels — really reading them — I understood what was happening. The food industry isn’t designed around your health. It’s designed around your habits. Ingredients engineered to keep you coming back, not to keep you full. Once I saw that clearly, I couldn’t unsee it.
From there I went deep into how Mediterranean cultures actually eat — not as a trendy diet, but as a daily structure built on real whole foods. More protein. More fiber. Healthy fat at every meal. Simple, repeatable combinations. And the hunger, the fog, the crashes — they started disappearing.
What changed
Life now looks completely different.
It’s not dramatic. No before-and-after photo shoot. Just the quiet, daily difference of a body that finally has what it needs.
Sustained energy through the day. A clear head when I sit down to think. No more snack spiral at 9pm. No more meals that leave me foggy an hour later. And a mindset that shifted from feeling controlled by cravings to feeling in control of my choices.
When you stop feeding your body chemicals it wasn’t designed to process, something opens up. Not just physically — mentally. The clarity I was chasing with caffeine started showing up naturally.
